Choosing Your Home

When you spawn, you'll see several timber houses scattered around the village. Walk through each one to find a structure that appeals to you—look for one with enough interior space for storage chests and a bed. Alternatively, claim a room inside the central tavern if you prefer being near other players or want easier access to communal storage.

Preparing Your Space

Once you've chosen a house:

1. Clear out any existing furniture or blocks that get in your way

2. Craft a bed using wool and planks if one isn't already present

3. Place storage chests along the walls—prioritize keeping them near your bed for quick access

4. Set up a crafting table and furnace in a central area of your room

5. Light the space with torches to prevent mobs from spawning indoors at night

Stocking Supplies

Visit the nearby crop fields and harvest vegetables to fill your hunger bar. Gather fallen wood from around the village and break stone from the surrounding landscape to craft basic tools. Store excess food and materials in your chests. This setup gives you a safe retreat point before venturing into the wilderness.
