Maximize the Village Farm for Food

Understanding the Farm Layout

The village includes pre-planted crop fields positioned near the houses and tavern. These farms are already tilled and planted with various crops—your job is to harvest and replant them to maintain a steady food supply throughout your playthrough.

Harvesting and Replanting

1. Approach fully-grown crops (they'll appear taller and more mature than younger plants)

2. Break them by left-clicking to collect seeds and the crop item

3. Replant seeds immediately in the same tilled soil by right-clicking

4. Water is already managed by the farm's proximity to water sources, so focus on harvesting on a regular schedule

Crop Rotation Strategy

Different crops mature at different rates. Check the farms daily and harvest anything fully grown. Store excess food in chests at your base. By maintaining the farms consistently, you'll never face hunger problems, even during long expeditions into the wilderness. This frees up inventory space for gathering resources instead of hunting for food.
