Carrying Multiple Totems for Extended Adventures

Since each totem consumes itself on activation, plan ahead for long expeditions. Dedicate inventory slots to carrying multiple Garfield totems—typically 2-4 depending on your adventure length and danger level.

Storage Strategy

Use an ender chest to maintain a portable totem reserve. Before entering high-risk areas like the Nether or deep caves, fill your offhand and several inventory slots with totems. After each activation, replace the consumed totem from your remaining stock.

Preparation Tips

For extended Nether exploration, carry at least 3-4 totems. For End raids or deep cave diving, bring similar quantities. Keep your ender chest stocked with extras at your base so you can quickly resupply. Consider marking dangerous routes or checkpoints where you can safely retreat to recover and restock. This approach ensures you're never caught without protection during critical moments.
