Enable Gamma Boost on Your World

Access Video Settings

Open your Minecraft settings and navigate to Video Settings. This is where resource pack compatibility is configured.

Activate Fabulous Graphics

Locate the Graphics option and change it from Fast or Fancy to Fabulous. This enables the shader system that Gamma Boost relies on. Fabulous mode activates the game's core shaders, which is essential for the pack to function.

Apply and Confirm

Save your settings. You may notice a brief performance impact or visual change as shaders load. This is normal.

Load Your World

Enter a world or create a new one. The brightening effect should now be visible—the world will appear noticeably lighter than before, making dark caves, forests, and night scenes easier to see.

Troubleshooting

If brightness doesn't change, verify that Gamma Boost is actually selected in your active resource packs list. Ensure no conflicting shader packs are enabled simultaneously.
