Adjust Brightness to Your Preference
Locate the Exposure File
The brightness level of Gamma Boost is controlled through a shader file. Navigate to your resource pack folder and open the exposure.fsh file with a text editor (Notepad, VS Code, or similar).
Edit the Exposure Value
Inside the file, you'll find exposure settings that control how bright the overall image appears. Look for numeric values associated with exposure or gamma adjustments. Increasing these values makes the world brighter; decreasing them makes it darker.
Test Your Changes
Save the file and return to Minecraft. You may need to reload your resource pack or restart the game for changes to take effect. Load into a world and check how the new brightness feels. If it's still not right, return to the file and adjust further.
Fine-Tune for Your Setup
If you play on a dim screen, try higher values. If you're in a bright room and the pack now feels too intense, lower the values slightly. The goal is comfortable visibility without washing out colors or creating glare.
