Basic Parachute Setup and Deployment

Attach a parachute pack block to your Create contraption or flying vehicle by placing it on the build. Right-click the block with an empty hand to open the controller menu, where you can adjust drag force, rotational damping, and other glide parameters to suit your needs.

To deploy the parachute mid-flight, send a redstone pulse to the parachute pack. The canopy will smoothly deploy and begin slowing your descent. Send another pulse to retract it. The parachute automatically detaches at low speeds to prevent snagging.

Customize your parachute's appearance by right-clicking the deployed canopy with dye to change its color, or use an axe to restore the original texture. Custom Blockbench models are supported if placed in the parachute folder.
