Activate Your First Armor Trim Effect

Gather a Matching Trim Set

To unlock an armor trim's special power, you need all four pieces—helmet, chestplate, leggings, and boots—decorated with the same trim material. Visit a Smithing Table and apply your chosen trim material to each piece individually. The trim material determines which effect you'll receive.

Equip and Test Your Effect

Once all four pieces are trimmed with the same material, equip them completely. The effect activates automatically when you're wearing the full set. Different trim materials grant different abilities—some enhance combat, others improve survival or mobility.

Verify Your Setup

If your effect isn't working, double-check that:

• All four armor pieces are equipped
• Every piece uses the exact same trim material
• You're not mixing trim materials across your set

Mixing armor types (like leather with diamond) is fine as long as the trim material matches perfectly on all pieces. Once confirmed, your armor will display its special power in-game.
