Spot ores and structures more easily

How Fullsight helps visibility

The flat, shadowless rendering removes visual noise. Ores, mobs, and structures stand out against the uniform background without shadow confusion.

Steps to find resources efficiently

1. Mine in straight lines – Without shadows creating depth illusions, straight horizontal or vertical tunnels let you scan blocks uniformly. Ores appear as distinct color blocks.

2. Use maximum brightness – Set Brightness to maximum in video settings. Fullsight's flat lighting means this won't wash out details.

3. Reduce render distance slightly – Paradoxically, a shorter render distance (12–16 chunks) reduces visual clutter and makes nearby ores pop more clearly.

4. Wear contrasting armor – Mobs blend into the flat background. Wear bright armor so you're visible to yourself and can spot movement easier.

5. Look for color blocks – Ores have distinct colors (red for redstone, blue for lapis, gold for gold). Scan for these hues rather than relying on shadow depth.

6. Explore at Y-levels strategically – Different ores spawn at different heights. Mine at known ore-rich levels for faster collection.

Fullsight's clarity makes systematic mining more effective than exploring by sight alone.
