Maximize FPS while keeping the game playable

Why Fullsight helps performance

Fullsight removes expensive rendering passes: shadow maps, dynamic lighting calculations, and fog rendering. This frees up GPU cycles for higher render distance or frame rate.

Steps to optimize further

1. Increase render distance – With Fullsight active, you can push render distance higher than normal shaders allow. Experiment incrementally (16 → 20 → 24 chunks).

2. Disable other visual mods – Turn off particle effects mods, dynamic lighting mods, or other visual enhancements that compete with your GPU.

3. Lower resolution if needed – If FPS still drops, reduce render scale in video settings. Fullsight's flat look remains clear even at lower resolution.

4. Monitor resource packs – Heavy texture packs can still impact performance. Pair Fullsight with a lightweight or vanilla resource pack.

5. Check mod conflicts – Some mods add their own rendering overhead. Disable them one by one to identify culprits.

6. Use VSync or frame cap – Cap your frame rate to reduce unnecessary GPU work once you hit your target FPS.

Fullsight is most effective on systems with weak GPUs. Older integrated graphics will see the biggest improvement.
