Why Adjust Brightness

While Fullbright SP eliminates darkness, maximum brightness can cause eye fatigue during long play sessions. Tuning the intensity helps you maintain visibility while staying comfortable.

How to Customize Brightness

Locate the resource pack's configuration files in your resource pack folder. Open the relevant settings file (typically a .json or .properties file) and look for brightness or gamma-related values.

Reduce the numeric value gradually—start by lowering it by 10-15% from default and test in different environments (caves, night, underwater). Return to your world and observe how caves, forests, and ocean floors appear.

Testing Your Settings

Visit multiple biomes to ensure your adjustment works everywhere:

• Deep caves with no natural light
• Surface at midnight
• Underwater caverns
• Dense forests at night

If some areas feel too dark or too bright, fine-tune further. Save your changes and reload the resource pack by pressing F3 + T (or your reload key) to see updates immediately without restarting the game.
