Enable Fullbright in Your World

Activating the Shader

Once Fullbright Shaders is installed through your loader (Iris, Oculus, or OptiFine), you need to enable it in your video settings.

1. Open your Video Settings from the main menu or pause screen

2. Look for the Shaders option

3. Click to open the shader selection menu

4. Find and select Fullbright from the available shader packs

5. Confirm your selection — the effect applies immediately

Verifying It's Working

You should notice the change right away: caves that were pitch-black are now fully visible, and nighttime no longer requires torches to navigate safely. If you don't see a difference, check that your loader is active and that shaders are enabled in your video settings. You can toggle the shader on and off to compare the before and after effect.

The mod maintains your game's performance — you won't experience significant FPS drops even on lower-end computers.
