Seeing the Ocean Floor Clearly

Ocean exploration is normally difficult because water darkens everything below the surface. Fullbright Plus Shaders illuminates the entire ocean floor, making underwater temples, shipwrecks, and ruins instantly visible from above or below the water line. You can spot valuable loot and structure layouts without squinting or using night vision potions.

Locating Underwater Structures

1. Swim or boat across oceans — scan the seafloor for distinctive structure shapes

2. Identify temples and ruins — their blocks and layouts are now clearly visible through the water

3. Spot treasure chests — loot containers stand out against the illuminated terrain

4. Avoid drowning — you can see your oxygen level and navigate to air pockets easily

Efficient Underwater Mining

Bring a pickaxe, sword, and plenty of food. The shader removes the visual darkness but not the actual underwater mechanics — you'll still need to manage oxygen and deal with guardians. The improved visibility lets you plan your route and identify threats before they become problems, making underwater exploration much safer and faster than traditional methods.
