How to Toggle Full Brightness On and Off In-Game

Full Brightness Toggle is designed around a single keypress, so the fastest way to use it is to bind a key you can reach without looking away from the screen.

Default Toggle

Press the G key while you are in-game. This flips the brightness between your normal setting and the boosted "night vision"-style brightness. Pressing it again returns you to your previous brightness. The change is instant and does not require opening any menu, which is why it is useful for quickly checking a dark cave or a shadowed corner.

If the Key Does Nothing

• Make sure you are actually in the world, not paused in a menu.
• Check that another mod or a keybind conflict is not stealing the G key.
• Confirm the mod is loaded for the correct mod loader and game version you launched.

Practical Tips

• Toggle it off before taking screenshots or recording if you want the game to look normal.
• On servers that forbid it, keep it off entirely rather than toggling it on and off, since some anti-cheat setups flag the change itself.
