How to Change the Full Brightness Toggle Keybind

If the default G key clashes with another mod or is awkward for your keyboard layout, you can rebind it like any other control.

Rebind Steps

1. Open the game and go to Options.

2. Open Controls (sometimes labelled Key Binds depending on your setup).

3. Scroll until you find the Full Brightness Toggle entry.

4. Click the current key and press the key you want to use instead.

5. If the game warns about a conflict, either pick a different key or clear the other binding.

6. Save and return to the game, then test the new key in-world.

Choosing a Good Key

• Avoid keys already used for movement, inventory, or chat.
• Keys near your movement hand are easiest to hit mid-fight or mid-mine.
• If you play multiple modpacks, keep the same key across them so muscle memory carries over.

If the Option Is Missing

The keybind only appears when the mod is loaded. If you cannot find it in the Controls list, the mod is not active in that instance, so check your mod loader and profile before troubleshooting further.
