Exploring the Sky Islands

Beyond your starting airship, numerous floating islands dot the void. These islands contain rare loot, crafting materials, and dangerous bosses that drop powerful rewards.

Planning Your Journey

From your airship, scan the horizon for visible islands or use landmarks to navigate. Fly toward distant islands, but ensure your thrusters have sufficient fuel or power before departing. Bring combat gear and healing supplies—island bosses are significantly stronger than void creatures.

Claiming Rewards

When you reach an island, explore thoroughly for chests and loot caches. Defeat the boss guarding the island to unlock its primary treasure. Defeated bosses typically drop rare crafting components, enchanted items, or materials needed for quest progression.

Return and Processing

Once you've gathered loot, return to your airship and sort materials into your storage network. Use Applied Energistics 2 or Refined Storage to organize and access items remotely. Some boss drops may be needed immediately for crafting quests, while others fuel long-term progression toward the endgame Piña Colada.
