Troubleshoot Blurry or Soft Visuals

Why Your Image Looks Soft

Fsrmine Shaders intentionally renders at lower resolution to boost FPS, then upscales the image. This upscaling can look softer than native resolution, especially on text, distant details, and fine textures. This is the intended trade-off.

Check Your FSR Settings

1. Open shader settings and verify you're not using the most aggressive upscaling mode

2. Try switching to a higher quality FSR preset (Ultra Quality instead of Performance)

3. Confirm your monitor refresh rate and resolution match your game's output settings

4. Restart the game after changing settings to ensure changes apply

When Softness is Normal

Some blur is expected and unavoidable with FSR technology—it's the cost of the performance gain. If the image looks acceptable at your chosen quality level, this is working as designed. However, if it looks unusually blurry compared to videos you've seen, you may be using too aggressive a setting for your preference.

Alternative Approach

If softness bothers you, consider using a less aggressive FSR mode or disabling the shader entirely for a smaller but noticeable FPS improvement versus vanilla.
