Reduce Chunk Loading Lag Spikes
How FSR Helps with Lag Spikes
When you travel through the world or load new chunks, your GPU works harder. By rendering at lower resolution, Fsrmine Shaders reduces this GPU load, which can minimize or eliminate the frame rate dips that happen during chunk generation.
Maximize Chunk Loading Performance
1. Use an aggressive FSR upscaling mode (Performance or Ultra Performance) to keep GPU usage low
2. Pair this with reasonable render distance—even with FSR, very high render distances still cause lag
3. Avoid flying or traveling at high speed in new terrain while the world is still loading
4. Disable other resource-heavy mods or shaders that might compete with FSR's benefits
Expected Results
With FSR enabled on an appropriate quality setting, chunk loading should feel smoother and less stuttery. You may still see brief pauses when loading very distant chunks, but the overall experience should be more fluid than without the shader.
If Lag Persists
If you still experience significant stuttering, the issue may be CPU-related rather than GPU-related. FSR only helps with GPU bottlenecks. Check your render distance and consider allocating more RAM to Minecraft.
