Optimize Settings for Your Graphics Card
Matching FSR to Your GPU
Fsrmine Shaders works on most graphics cards, but older or weaker GPUs benefit most from aggressive upscaling, while newer cards can use higher quality modes comfortably.
Recommended Starting Points
Older/Budget GPUs: Start with Performance or Ultra Performance mode. These render at much lower resolution and give the biggest FPS boost where you need it most.
Mid-range GPUs: Begin with Balanced or Quality mode. You'll still see solid FPS gains without sacrificing too much visual fidelity.
High-end GPUs: Try Ultra Quality first. You get performance benefits while keeping the image sharp, or disable FSR if you're already hitting your target frame rate.
Testing Your Setup
1. Load into a familiar area with varied terrain and lighting
2. Check your FPS counter (F3 screen)
3. Adjust FSR quality up or down based on whether you want more smoothness or sharpness
4. Test in different environments—caves, forests, and open areas stress your GPU differently
5. Find the setting where your target frame rate feels consistent
Remember: if your GPU already runs Minecraft smoothly at high settings, FSR may not be necessary for you.
