Adjust FSR Upscaling Quality vs Performance
Understanding FSR Quality Modes
Fsrmine Shaders offers multiple upscaling quality presets that balance sharpness against frame rate gains. Higher quality modes render closer to your native resolution but give smaller FPS boosts, while lower quality modes render much smaller and upscale more aggressively for maximum performance.
How to Change Your FSR Setting
1. Open your shader settings menu (usually Shift+O or through video settings)
2. Look for the FSR or upscaling quality option
3. Cycle through the available presets—typically ranging from Ultra Quality to Performance or Ultra Performance
4. Test each setting for 30 seconds while moving around to see the visual difference and frame rate impact
5. Choose the preset where you feel the image still looks sharp enough for your playstyle
Tips for Finding Your Sweet Spot
If you're playing competitive PvP or need precise visuals, lean toward Ultra Quality. For exploration, building, or casual survival, Performance modes are usually fine and give dramatic FPS gains. On older GPUs, even the most aggressive upscaling often looks acceptable because the performance jump is worth the minor softness.
