Maintain Sharp Visuals During Fast Camera Movement
Understanding Motion Clarity
FSR Shaders includes temporal techniques that track pixel movement across frames. This keeps textures sharp even when you're turning quickly or moving fast, which is where cheaper upscaling methods typically blur.
Enabling Motion Stability
Check your shader settings for temporal or motion-related options. These should be enabled by default. They work by analyzing how pixels shift between frames and adjusting the upscaling accordingly.
Testing Sharp Movement
Fly rapidly through a detailed forest or across a textured landscape. Look for:
- Text on signs remaining readable during pans
- Tree leaves and grass staying crisp, not blurry
- Block edges staying defined during fast turns
If Visuals Still Blur
Reduce your upscaling strength—you may be scaling too aggressively for the temporal system to compensate. Alternatively, check that motion/temporal features aren't disabled in your settings.
If frame rate is stable but motion still feels soft, lower your overall upscaling by one step. The balance between aggressive scaling and motion clarity is hardware-dependent.
