How to Stop Hopper Interactions and Tweak Cooldowns with FrozenLib

Two of FrozenLib's most useful gameplay-facing features are disabling hopper usage on specific block entities and shortening item cooldowns. Both are controlled by the mods that use FrozenLib, so you configure them through those mods' options.

Disabling Hoppers on a Block Entity

FrozenLib provides the ability for a mod to mark a block entity as hopper-proof. If a mod you installed exposes this, you'll usually find it as a per-block or per-machine toggle in that mod's config, or as a block property in its data files. When enabled, hoppers will not pull from or push into that block. This is handy for preventing automation from draining a machine you want to fill manually.

Reducing Item Cooldowns

FrozenLib can decrease the time an item's cooldown lasts. Again, this is surfaced by the dependent mod — look for a cooldown-related option in its config. The exact reduction is set by that mod, not by FrozenLib, so read the option's tooltip rather than assuming a fixed number.

If You Don't See These Options

Not every FrozenLib-dependent mod enables every feature. If a mod doesn't expose hopper blocking or cooldown tweaks, you can't turn them on through FrozenLib alone. Check the mod's own config and documentation first, and only look at FrozenLib if the mod's docs point you there.
