Use snowy leaves with resource packs

Compatible resource packs

The mod includes built-in support for specific resource packs. Stay True and foliage packs from the Rainbow collection are officially compatible, meaning snowy leaf textures will display correctly without conflicts or visual glitches.

Applying a resource pack

Load your chosen compatible resource pack through the Resource Packs menu in Minecraft settings. The mod will detect it automatically—no extra configuration needed. The snowy block state works alongside the pack's custom textures seamlessly.

What happens with unsupported packs

If you use a resource pack not listed as compatible, snowy leaves may still appear, but the texture quality or appearance might not match the pack's intended style. The mod's snowy state is a vanilla block state, so most packs won't conflict—they simply won't have custom snowy leaf textures designed for them.

Testing your setup

Travel to a cold biome after applying your resource pack. Look at tree leaves and confirm they display with the snowy overlay. If textures look wrong, try switching to Stay True or a Rainbow foliage pack to verify compatibility.
