Make snow-covered trees appear in your world
Finding cold biomes
Snow-glazed leaves only appear naturally in cold and snowy biomes. Travel to biomes like Taiga, Snowy Taiga, Snowy Plains, or Windswept Hills where temperatures are low enough for snow to fall.
What you'll see
Once you reach a cold biome, any tree leaves already present—or newly grown trees—will display with a white snowy overlay on their foliage blocks. Spruce, pine, and other cold-climate trees show this effect most noticeably. The snow texture blends naturally with the leaf blocks without replacing them entirely.
Growing new snowy trees
If you want to create a snowy forest in a cold biome, plant saplings and let them grow. The mod automatically applies the snowy block state to leaves as they generate in cold biome conditions. You can also bone meal saplings to speed up growth—the resulting leaves will still receive the snow overlay.
Checking your biome
If trees aren't showing snow, verify you're in a biome cold enough for snow. Use F3 debug screen (or equivalent) to check your current biome name. Temperate and warm biomes will never show snowy leaves, even if it's raining.
