Keep trees looking normal in warm biomes
How the mod handles warm areas
The mod automatically detects biome temperature and only applies snowy leaf textures in cold regions. Tropical, desert, savanna, and temperate biomes keep their standard leaf colors year-round. No manual configuration is required.
Trees in mixed-temperature worlds
If you build across multiple biomes, trees will naturally transition: snowy leaves in cold areas, normal green or colored leaves in warm areas. This creates realistic climate zones without any player intervention.
No performance impact
The mod doesn't add extra blocks or items, so warm biomes run at full performance. The snowy state only exists on leaves in cold biomes; warm biome leaves use standard vanilla block states.
Traveling between climates
When you move from a cold forest to a warm jungle, you'll see leaves change from snowy white to their natural colors. This happens because the mod respects biome temperature data. If you want to preserve warm-colored leaves in a cold biome, you'd need to place them in a warmer biome or use commands—the mod follows vanilla temperature rules.
