What the Friendly Endermite Mod Does

The Friendly Endermite Mod (also called the Friendermite Mod) changes one specific behavior: Endermen stop attacking Endermites. In vanilla Minecraft, Endermen are hostile toward Endermites and will kill them on sight. This mod removes that hostility, so the two mobs can coexist without conflict.

Effects on Gameplay

Because Endermen no longer attack Endermites, the usual trick of using Endermites to lure or aggro Endermen no longer works. This means you cannot build an Enderman farm that relies on Endermites as bait. If your farm depends on that mechanic, it will stop functioning with this mod installed.

Notes

The mod is small and single-purpose. It does not add new items, mobs, or blocks, and it does not change any other Enderman behavior. It only affects the Enderman-versus-Endermite relationship. Install it if you want Endermites to survive around Endermen, and avoid it if you rely on Endermite-based Enderman farming.
