Troubleshoot Missing or Incorrect Creeper Textures

Verify Pack Activation

First, confirm the resource pack is actually enabled. Go to Options > Resource Packs and check that Freshly Creepers appears in the Selected column (right side), not the Available column (left side). If it's only in Available, click the arrow to activate it.

Check for Conflicting Packs

Other resource packs may override the creeper texture. Review your Selected packs list and temporarily disable any custom mob texture packs to isolate the issue. Re-enable them one at a time to identify which pack conflicts with Freshly Creepers.

Reload Resources

Press F3 + T (or Ctrl + T on some systems) to reload all resource packs without restarting the game. This refreshes textures and often resolves display issues. If the creeper still appears wrong, try closing and reopening your world entirely.

Verify File Integrity

Ensure the pack file isn't corrupted by checking that it loads without errors in the Resource Packs menu. If errors appear, reinstall the pack.
