How to Fix Waystone Textures Not Changing After Installing the Pack

Check Pack Priority First

The most common cause is another resource pack overriding Fresh Waystones. Open Options → Resource Packs and drag Fresh Waystones to the top of the Selected column. Packs higher in the list take priority, so anything above it that also edits waystone textures will hide the new look.

Confirm the File and Folder

Make sure the .zip sits directly in resourcepacks and was not extracted into a subfolder. A common mistake is ending up with resourcepacks/FreshWaystones/FreshWaystones/assets/... instead of the zip itself. Also confirm you placed it in the instance you are actually playing — modpacks with isolated instances each have their own folder.

Refresh and Rule Out Other Causes

Press F3 + T to reload resources without restarting. If textures still look default, temporarily disable all other packs except Fresh Waystones to isolate a conflict. Remember this pack only changes waystone appearance — it does not add or move blocks, so if a waystone is missing entirely, that is a mod or config issue, not a texture issue. Finally, check that you are looking at an actual waystone and not a similarly named block from another mod.
