Identify Paintings Before Placing Them

Use the Hotbar and Inventory Sprites

With Fresh Paintings Resource Pack installed, each painting now displays a unique sprite in your inventory and hotbar. This lets you see exactly what artwork you're holding before you place it on a wall.

Steps:

1. Open your inventory or look at your hotbar while holding different paintings

2. Each painting shows its own distinct image instead of a generic icon

3. Use this visual reference to organize your paintings by theme or style

4. Place the painting you want by selecting it from your hotbar and right-clicking on a wall

Organize Your Painting Collection

Since paintings are now visually distinct, you can sort them more efficiently:

• Group paintings by color palette or subject matter in separate storage areas
• Use the sprite preview to quickly locate a specific artwork without trial-and-error placement
• Take advantage of the improved visuals when decorating multiple rooms—you'll know exactly which painting goes where

This feature is especially useful when working with large painting collections or building themed rooms where the right artwork matters.
