How to Install and Use Fresh Moves

Getting Smooth Player Animations

Fresh Moves is a client-side resource pack that replaces vanilla walking, running, swimming, sneaking, and sprinting with smoother, more lifelike animations. It also adds a relaxed idle stance and more expressive faces.

Because the pack relies on custom entity models, it will not work on its own. You must install the Entity Model Features (EMF) and Entity Texture Features (ETF) client mods first. Without both of these, the animations will not appear.

Once EMF and ETF are installed, enable Fresh Moves like any other resource pack. No server-side installation is needed, so it works on multiplayer servers and in singleplayer. The changes are most noticeable in third-person view, where the improved idle, movement, and swimming poses make your character look far less stiff than in vanilla. If animations do not show up, confirm that both required mods are present and that the pack is active in your resource pack list.
