Fix Texture and Animation Issues on Modded Illagers

Identify Problem Mobs

Modded Illagers from unsupported mods may appear with stretched textures, broken limbs, or stiff animations. Common issues include floating weapons, misaligned robes, or jerky movement during combat.

Apply the Resource Pack

Ensure the Fresh Illager Mod Compats Resource Pack is enabled and positioned above any conflicting texture packs in your resource pack list. The pack automatically patches texture coordinates and bone assignments for known modded Illagers.

Verify Compatibility

Check if your mod is listed in the supported content—Goety, Illager Invasion, Savage and Ravage, The Graveyard, Frostiful, Supplementaries, Friends & Foes, Difficult Raids, and LNE Wizards all receive dedicated fixes.

Test the Fix

Spawn or encounter the affected mob. Smooth walking, running, and attacking animations should now display correctly. Textures should align properly without gaps or distortion. If issues persist, verify the resource pack loads before other packs and that the mod itself is up to date.

For mods not on the supported list, the pack may still improve appearance through base Vindicator and Evoker model updates, though full compatibility isn't guaranteed.
