How Status Effects Change Your Hearts

Fresh Hearts updates the appearance of hearts when you're affected by negative status effects. Each effect changes your heart color and style:

• Poison Effect: Hearts turn green and display a sickly appearance
• Wither Effect: Hearts become dark black, indicating decay damage
• Freezing Effect: Hearts turn blue and look sharp/crystalline

Get These Effects to See Them

Poison: Fight cave spiders or bees, or use /effect give @s poison

Wither: Encounter a Wither boss, or use /effect give @s wither

Freezing: Stand in powder snow without proper gear, or use /effect give @s slowness (freezing is visual in newer versions)
