Enable Fresh Hearts in Your World

Activate the Resource Pack

Fresh Hearts is a resource pack, not a mod that requires Forge or Fabric. You need to load it into your resource pack folder so Minecraft recognizes it.

1. Open your Minecraft launcher and go to Resource Packs

2. Click Open Pack Folder — this opens your resourcepacks directory

3. Place the Fresh Hearts pack file into this folder

4. Return to the launcher and you'll see Fresh Hearts listed under Available

5. Click the arrow to move it to Selected packs

6. Make sure Fresh Hearts is positioned above the Default pack in your load order — higher packs override lower ones

7. Launch your world

Verify It's Working

Once in-game, take damage or check your health bar. If the hearts look modern and clean instead of the default blocky style, the pack is active. If you see no change, try moving Fresh Hearts higher in your pack order and restart the world.

You can have multiple resource packs active at once. Fresh Hearts will only affect heart textures and won't conflict with other cosmetic packs.
