Troubleshoot Grass Colors Not Appearing in Your World
Confirm Resource Pack is Active
Open the resource pack menu in Minecraft settings and verify Fresh Grass Better Colormap appears in the active list on the right side. If it's in the inactive list on the left, click it and move it to active. The pack must be selected for your current world.
Check for Conflicting Packs
If multiple resource packs are active, they may conflict. Disable other grass or colormap-related packs temporarily and test with only Fresh Grass enabled. Reorder packs so Fresh Grass loads last if you need multiple packs active.
Reload Your World
Resource pack changes don't always apply mid-session. Exit to the main menu and reload your world completely. Minecraft needs to reinitialize textures and colormaps when you return.
Verify File Integrity
If colors still don't appear, the resource pack files may be corrupted. Delete and reinstall Fresh Grass Better Colormap. Ensure the colormap folder structure is intact: assets/minecraft/textures/colormap/.
