Make Grass Greener or More Muted to Match Your Playstyle
Understand the Color Intensity
Fresh Grass Better Colormap brightens grass compared to vanilla, but you can adjust this further. The resource pack's colormap files control saturation and brightness across all grass blocks and leaves.
Increase Vibrancy
If you want even more vivid greens, open the colormap files in an image editor and increase saturation using your editor's color adjustment tools. Boost the green channel slightly or use a saturation filter to make grass pop more dramatically against stone and dirt.
Reduce to Subtle Tones
For a more muted, natural look, decrease saturation or lower the brightness values in the colormap. This creates a softer, less saturated green that feels earthy without losing the Fresh Grass improvements over vanilla.
Test Across Biomes
After adjusting, load your world and visit multiple biomes—plains, forests, swamps, and jungles. Grass color should feel consistent yet appropriate to each biome's climate.
