Ensure the Resource Pack Works Correctly with Shaders
Check Load Order
When using Fresh Grass Better Colormap alongside shader packs, ensure the resource pack loads after your shader in the resource pack list. In the Minecraft launcher, drag Fresh Grass to the bottom of your active packs so shaders process first, then colormaps apply on top.
Verify Colormap Compatibility
Some shaders override colormap rendering. If grass appears unchanged or reverts to vanilla colors, your shader may be disabling custom colormaps. Check your shader's configuration file for colormap settings and enable them if disabled.
Test Visual Results
Load a world with both the resource pack and shader active. Grass and leaves should display the Fresh Grass green tones even with shader effects applied. If colors look washed out or incorrect, try disabling shader-specific colormap overrides or adjusting shader brightness settings.
Performance Check
Monitor your frame rate. Fresh Grass is lightweight, but combined with shaders, performance may dip. Adjust shader quality if needed to maintain smooth gameplay.
