Fresh Food Resource Pack: What It Changes

Overview

Fresh Food is a resource pack, not a content mod. It does not add new items, blocks, or crafting recipes. Instead, it retextures a small set of existing food items so they look fresher and more detailed than the default Minecraft sprites.

The pack touches five food items: Beetroot Soup, Enchanted Golden Apple, Mushroom Stew, Rabbit Stew, and Suspicious Stew. Because these are all vanilla items, the pack works in any world and any game mode, including survival and creative.

How It Works

Install it like any other resource pack. Once active, the five listed foods display the pack's replacement textures wherever they appear, including in your inventory, in hand, in item frames, and in the hotbar. Nothing about how these foods behave changes: eating them, brewing them, or crafting them still follows vanilla rules. The only difference is visual.

If you dislike the new look, simply disable the pack and the default textures return.
