How to Check If the Mod Is Working

After installing Freedom Chat Mod and restarting your server, you can confirm that chat reporting has been disabled by testing the system.

Testing Steps

1. Have a player send a message in chat

2. Hover over or right-click on that message (the exact method depends on your client)

3. Look for a "Report" button or option—it should not appear

4. If no report option exists, the mod is working correctly

What You'll Notice

Players will see normal chat messages, but the ability to report them through the vanilla system will be completely removed. Messages sent while the mod is active will not have digital signatures attached, making them unreportable through official channels.

If report buttons still appear, verify that:

• The mod file is in your server folder
• Your server has fully restarted
• The file version matches your server version
