Navigate the Course Without Getting Lost
Reading the Path
The map is designed with a clear, linear route from start to finish. The path is marked visually through block placement and terrain design—follow the obvious walkway and avoid branching off into dead ends or side areas.
Staying on Track
Look ahead: Scan the horizon as you run to spot the next section of the path. This prevents last-second corrections that slow you down.
Use landmarks: Identify distinctive blocks, structures, or terrain features that mark major turns or checkpoints. These serve as visual guides when you're moving quickly.
Stick to the center: The safest route is usually down the middle of the marked path. Hugging edges increases the risk of falling or overshooting turns.
If You Get Turned Around
If you miss a turn or take a wrong direction, backtrack immediately rather than exploring. The map is compact, so reorienting yourself shouldn't cost too much time. On your next attempt, pay closer attention to that specific section.
Familiarizing yourself with the layout through a few casual runs before attempting a speed run will make navigation automatic.
