Improve Your Movement Speed and Efficiency
Mastering Sprint-Jumping
Sprint-jumping is the fastest way to traverse the course. Hold sprint and jump repeatedly to maintain forward momentum. Time your jumps so you land smoothly and immediately jump again—avoid landing and walking, as this breaks your rhythm.
Handling Different Terrain
Flat sections: Chain sprint-jumps together for maximum speed. Maintain consistent timing between jumps.
Inclines: Adjust your jump timing on slopes. Uphill sections require more effort; downhill sections allow you to gain speed naturally.
Turns: Approach corners at an angle that lets you maintain momentum. Tight turns may require a brief pause to reorient, but practice will help you flow through them.
Reducing Wasted Motion
Avoid unnecessary strafing or backpedaling. Every direction change costs time. Plan your approach to each obstacle so you can move in a straight line as much as possible.
Practice Drills
Run the same section repeatedly until your movement becomes automatic. Focus on one area at a time—once you've optimized that segment, move to the next. Consistent practice builds muscle memory and reduces hesitation during speed runs.
