Complete a Full Run Without Falling or Restarting
Preventing Falls
The compact map has edges and hazards that can end your run prematurely. Stay aware of your position relative to the path boundaries. When approaching narrow sections, slow slightly to ensure you don't overshoot or veer off the edge.
Maintaining Focus
Avoid distractions: Concentrate on the path ahead. Quick reflexes matter, but anticipating obstacles before you reach them is more important.
Control your speed: While the goal is to go fast, reckless speed leads to mistakes. Find the fastest pace you can maintain without losing control.
Breathe and stay calm: Panicked movement causes errors. Take steady breaths and approach the run methodically.
Recovery Techniques
If you stumble or nearly fall, resist the urge to panic-jump. Regain your footing, reorient yourself, and resume your run. A completed run with a slower time is better than restarting after a fall.
Building Consistency
Complete several full runs without falling before attempting to optimize for speed. Once you can reliably finish the course cleanly, focus on shaving seconds off your time. Consistency is the foundation of fast speedruns.
