Adjust Shader Settings for Your Hardware

Access Shader Options

Press Shift + O in-game to open the shader settings menu. This is where you control visual quality and performance.

Optimize for Your System

Frangilus Shaders runs on low to mid-range hardware, but you may need to tweak settings based on your PC:

  • Lower frame rate? Reduce shadow quality or disable advanced water effects in the settings panel.
  • Want better visuals? Increase shadow distance and enable higher-quality lighting options.
  • Adjust brightness: The warm cartoon lighting can be intense. Use the brightness slider to match your preference.

Save Your Configuration

Once you've found settings that work, they persist across sessions. You can also create multiple profiles by exporting your current settings if the shader supports it.

Test in Different Biomes

Visit various Overworld biomes to see how the warm lighting and colorful skies interact with terrain. The shader's cartoon style may look different in forests versus deserts—adjust accordingly.
