Fragmentum Mod: What It Is and How to Use It

A Framework, Not a Content Mod

Fragmentum Mod is a lightweight core framework built to support cross-platform mods within the Obscuria Collection. If you installed it expecting new blocks, items, or gameplay, you will not find any here — it deliberately adds no content of its own.

Its purpose is internal. Fragmentum provides the shared systems and foundations that other Obscuria mods depend on, so those mods behave consistently regardless of the platform they run on. Think of it as a supporting library rather than a standalone experience.

For players, the practical takeaway is simple: Fragmentum is a dependency. You generally install it alongside the Obscuria mods that require it, and it works quietly in the background. It is not designed for general-purpose use by other modders, so it is not a toolkit you would reach for when building unrelated projects.

If an Obscuria mod lists Fragmentum as a requirement, keep it installed. Removing it will break the mods that rely on its shared systems.
