Configure the Mod to Reduce Sensory Overload

Access Mod Settings

Type /help_config in your chat window to display information about accessing and adjusting mod settings. This command reveals which configuration options are available and how to modify them.

Disable Flashing Lights and Loud Audio

The mod includes intense screen flashes and eerie sound effects designed to create tension. If these effects cause discomfort or distraction, navigate to your mod configuration files and locate the Fractured Equilibrium settings. You can toggle off screen flashes and reduce or mute the audio intensity.

Control World Destruction

Random events can damage your blocks and structures as part of the mod's chaos mechanic. If you prefer to preserve your builds, the config options allow you to disable world destruction while keeping the hostile entities and other survival challenges active. Adjust these settings before entering your world, or restart your world after making changes for them to take full effect.
