Hide the FPS Counter During Screenshots or Streaming

Find the Toggle or Visibility Settings

Open the FPS Overlay Mod configuration menu. Search for options like Toggle Key, Hotkey, Show/Hide, or Visibility.

Set a Keybind to Hide the Overlay

If your mod supports a toggle keybind, assign an unused key (such as a function key or numpad key) to show and hide the overlay. This lets you quickly disable the counter when taking screenshots or starting a stream without restarting the game.

Use Configuration Options

Alternatively, look for a Hide in Screenshots option that automatically disables the overlay when you press the screenshot key. Some versions also include Hide in F5 Camera to remove the counter when using third-person or cinematic views.

Test Your Setup

Press your assigned keybind in-game to verify the overlay disappears and reappears correctly. Take a screenshot to confirm it won't appear in saved images. If using the auto-hide feature, press your screenshot key and check that the counter was excluded from the resulting file.

This ensures clean screenshots and stream footage without manual configuration changes.
