Clear Memory Leaks and Prevent Sudden Lag Spikes

How Memory Cleanup Works

The mod includes automatic memory monitoring that detects when your system RAM is being used inefficiently. It runs cleanup routines to free up memory without interrupting gameplay.

Enabling Smart Cleanup

In the mod settings, ensure the Memory Cleanup or RAM Management feature is enabled. You can usually set it to run automatically or trigger it manually when you notice lag.

If you're playing for extended sessions (several hours), automatic cleanup prevents gradual performance degradation that normally requires a restart.

Recognizing When It's Working

You may notice brief, tiny frame rate dips when cleanup runs—this is normal and much less disruptive than the lag spikes it prevents. If you're experiencing frequent stutters despite cleanup being active, you may be running too many mods or have insufficient RAM allocated to Minecraft.

For multiplayer servers, memory cleanup is especially useful because server-side lag from other players' actions won't affect your local frame rate as severely.
