Use FPS Max Mode as a Prank on Friends

Set Up the Joke

This mod is designed as entertainment—a humorous way to trick friends into thinking you've achieved impossible frame rates.

How to Pull Off the Prank

1. Invite a friend to your world or server

2. When they're watching your screen, activate /fps max

3. Show them your frame counter displaying extremely high numbers

4. Let them believe you've somehow optimized your game to superhuman performance levels

5. Reveal the joke by explaining the mod turns everything black

Why It Works

The prank is funny because:

• Frame rate numbers appear legitimate at first glance
• Most players don't immediately realize nothing is being rendered
• It mimics the kind of "performance tips" people share online
• The absurdity of a completely black screen eventually becomes obvious

Best Practices

For maximum comedic effect, activate the mode when your friend isn't expecting it, or claim you've installed a "secret optimization mod." The humor comes from the contrast between the impressive-looking numbers and the useless black screen.
