Reduce Lag by Disabling Entity Spawning

Why Disable Entity Spawning

Entity spawning—mobs, animals, and other creatures—consumes significant CPU resources. Disabling it is one of the fastest ways to boost FPS on lower-end systems, especially in multiplayer or heavily populated worlds.

How to Disable Entity Spawning

1. Open the FPS Boost Mod configuration menu (usually accessed via mod settings or in-game config screen)

2. Locate the Entity Management or Spawning section

3. Toggle Disable Entity Spawning to ON

4. Save your settings and restart the world or server

What to Expect

Once enabled, no new mobs or animals will spawn naturally. Existing entities remain until they despawn or are removed by Clearlag. This is ideal for:

  • Single-player worlds focused on building
  • Servers with custom mob spawners
  • Systems struggling with mob-heavy biomes

If you need mobs for farms or hunting, consider disabling this feature selectively or using spawn eggs instead.
