Installation and Performance Setup

Foxy Shaders requires a compatible rendering engine—install Voxy, Flywheel, or Veil alongside this shader pack. Once loaded, you'll access multiple performance profiles tuned for different hardware levels.

Start with the profile matching your system: low-end setups prioritize smooth exploration, while high-end profiles enable intensive path tracing for detailed screenshots. You can switch profiles without restarting.

The mod illuminates dark areas through glowing blocks and realistic light bouncing, creating colored light effects that respond to different light sources in your world. This creates atmospheric visuals suitable for both gameplay and photography.
