Understand When the Reset Packet Is Sent
How the Mod Works
This mod intercepts the moment you disconnect from one server and connect to another. When it detects this transition, it sends a special packet to reset your client's mod state on the new server.
When Reset Happens
- Automatic on server switch — you don't need to do anything
- During the loading screen — after you click Join Server
- Before mod data loads — ideally before conflicts occur
What Gets Reset
The packet clears client-side mod memory and registry data, allowing your client to accept the destination server's mod configuration without crashes. However, it does not:
- Uninstall mods from your client
- Change your mod list
- Modify server-side mod data
Timing Matters
If you rejoin the same server quickly, the reset may not complete fully.
