Switch Between Modded and Vanilla Servers Without Crashing

Why You Need This

When connecting to a vanilla server from a modded one (or vice versa), your client often crashes because mod data persists in memory. This mod clears that state automatically during server transitions.

How to Switch Servers Safely

1. Leave your current server by disconnecting normally (Disconnect button)

2. Return to the server list — the mod detects this transition

3. Join your target server (modded or vanilla) — the reset packet is sent automatically

4.

The mod handles the packet reset in the background. You should not experience the typical mod-data conflicts that cause crashes on proxy networks.

If You Still Crash

Some servers or mod combinations may not be compatible with the reset packet. Check if the target server has specific mod requirements or proxy configuration that conflicts with the reset behavior. You may need to restart your launcher between server switches as a workaround.
